| These notes give you the foundation for lesson plans where one step is concentrated on throughout the entire class. Many combinations are included for each class that use the theme step. (You will have to choose the ones at the right level.) This is an effective teaching tool and fun way to teach a term and help the student to get a good feel for the step and its variations. Ideas like a promenade exercise at the barre are very helplul for developping correct technique. Also included in the book are four signs with a visual display of the words. You may choose to leave them in the book and hold up for the students, or remove them and display on your walls. |
