Hoedown by Stephanie Chase High energy show piece
Dance Teacher Press is pleased to present "Hoedown" by Stephanie Chase. Stephanie was a member of the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes for ten years in New York City; dancing there and around the world with the Rockettes. She toured with Chita Rivera and danced in Presidential Inauguration of George Bush. Stephanie has enjoyed teaching dance all over the U.S. and Europe, including the Juilliard School at Lincoln Center. Stephanie’s energetic classes are very popular and always in demand. “Hoedown” has become one of her signature pieces, always a favorite with audiences and dancers alike. Hoedown is a character piece, not exactly ballet or jazz.
The notes are very clear with many illustrations. Included is a short DVD with a performance of Hoedown as an example for you.
